Recently I read something recently that shifted me because it is what I have been experiencing. As a young woman, single mother & teacher, I longed to fit in and belong to society – its ways, its “laws” & conformity. The fear of not living up to the expectations, the failure others expected, and the dependency of my daughter on me kept me closed, afraid, and silent.

Today, I cannot recognize that person, she is within me and taught me many lessons yet I am the woman I dreamt of being. Life is to be lived through experience not only lessons, debts, and jobs, I learned a long time ago that there is no value in the experiences I’ve had that money can buy. My life is beyond material wealth, it is filled with laughter, grace, loss, freedom, independence, peace, gratitude, passion, sensuality, creativity, faith & LOTS of love – for myself, everyone & the world. The people, the culture, the food, the sights – ALL of it is within me now and goes with me where ever I am and this is something no one can take from me.

When it is my turn to go back into Spirit form, I will have these moments to take into the next life. Beloved, how are you living? What dreams are within you wanting freedom to express, where do YOU want to go?
